Situated between Snowdonia and the sea, Bodelwyddan (pronounced bod-el-with-an) is a Grade II listed Victorian ‘Castle’ looking out over its peaceful estate.

The scenery is just beautiful overlooking the Clywdian Mountains what else would you expect this close to Snowdonia and the coast? The area is famous for its gorgeous landscapes, crisp clean air, rugged coastline and mountainous national parks, Wales is the perfect walking environment. Bodelwyddan has a unique and fascinating history and is set right in the heart of it all; just a stone’s throw from the coast and a short drive away from Snowdonia and its own gorgeous 16 acres of grounds which backs onto a massive 260 acres of Victorian parkland – A castle whose art and history combine to tell many interesting stories to enchant its visitors.

Excursion 1

This morning we leave the hotel for a visit to the nearby picture-per-fect seaside resort of Llandudno, the Queens of Welsh resorts with its elegant promenade.

Enjoy the vintage charm of the Great Orme Tramway – you’ll be rewarded with a splendid view, Punch and Judy on the promenade or a Victorian-style afternoon tea. Whatever you choose to do you’ll be sure to have an amazing time.

Excursion 2

Time to visit Chester – Its bewitching beauty and unique atmosphere make Chester one of Britain’s most popular places for an unforgettable day out – The ancient city is a truly breath-taking experience. Each chapter of Chester’s history is etched into the very fabric of the city.

The Old City has been a conservation area for more than 50 years and retains numerous well-preserved half-timbered houses, as well as the Rows, its magnificent two-tier medieval arcades. Add to this mix its attractive bridges, parks, and riverside walks, as well as excellent shopping.
